Naquele tempo a Alameda de Algés estava ligada à praia por passadiços,
escadarias e pontes, sobre a linha do comboio Lisboa-Cascais. O povo,
tal como hoje vai à Caparica, assim, naquele tempo, ia tomar banho a
Pedrouços e a Algés, então de águas claras.
Nesta fotografia aérea de 1930 pode ver-se em baixo (ampliando a foto), a referida ponte pedonal defronte ao Parque Anjos.
